Typical sight-in, recreational, plinking distances?

Just getting back into the recreation ... could probably layout a backstop at maybe 250 yards, practically, don't see that happening ... keep breaking shear-bolts bush-hogging out to about 120 yrds.

My tape measures don't read-out in yards so put together (please see below)

Question - so what are the usual sight-in / recreational / plinking / red dot distances? What is typical? What do you use? 25, 30, 50, 100 yrds? What are your preferred close-in distances on the range? Thanks -

100 yrds - 300 ft
75 yrds - 225 ft
66.6 yrds - 200 ft
50 yrds - 150 ft
35 yrds - 105 ft
33.3 yrds - 100 ft
30 yrds - 90 ft
25 yrds - 75 ft
20 yrds - 60 ft
15 yrds - 45 ft

I would make a path to the 200yd mark with the bush hog just wide enough to easily maintain. Solid distance to confirm zeros, drops, more precise load development.
Dude, I so agree, I could easily do it but I've a lot of irons in the fire. I understand you're working in a world beyond me. I've got a lot on the homestead agenda. Thanks for the reply!

200-250yds is PBR (point blank range) for most flat shooting centerfires.
and plenty long for rimfire!

but if you hang around here....keep cutting lol.

I thought you had too many irons in the fire? WTF?
Thank you for the comment. Yes, I certainly do have too may irons in the fire. But it's a matter of balancing needs with tolerable/explainable desires. For my birthday a couple months ago I acquired a platform that chambers the most recently mentioned cartridge. It's an amazing piece. I will do hours of bush-hogging to show my gratitude

You don't mention the type of sights, so I'll tag distances to sights.

10, 25 yards any sights on handguns, iron sight rimfire and center fire basic sight in.
50 , 75 yard scoped handgun (precision iron sight handgun), iron sight rimfire.
100 to 400 iron sight center fire rifle, scoped rifle.
Zero for rimfire rifle 50 yards 22 LR, 100 yards 22 mag.
Zero 15 yards for handguns EDC.
Zero varmint centerfire, 300 yards scoped rifle
Zero 7.62x39 200 yards ant sights.

Wow - that is a great reply!

Edit - that should be written down somewhere ... (maybe it is?)

100 yards is a great distance for target shooting/plinking with centerfire. For 22lr, I'd go with 25, max 50 yards.
For sighting in, the local hunters sight in at 50 yards and plan to not take shots longer than 150 yards.
