Photographers here -- What are you shooting at?

Nice images.
Thanks.

Believe it or not, but all images were taken with a Iphone8.

I used to lug around Nikon pro series film and digital cameras, but this cellphone is a whole lot more convenient. Still have my Nikon FM, F100, F5, D1x, & D2hs.

Also. If anyone is wondering, the cross sectioned cartridge is a 7mmT/CU with a 140 gr Nosler with H335.

I've done professional image editing for 30 years and I am amazed with phone images. They in my opinion have replaced the personal camera. They look good on screen and on many home inkjet printers today and that's all 99.9% of what people need.

Unfortunately because of outputting and the small phone camera sensor size I'm stuck with handling the DSLR and mirrorless camera files.

When I can, I try to get sunrise and sunset pics. They are are really never quite the same, and they can change in seconds.

I’ve been considering purchasing a used Nikon D3 or D4 as I still like macro and micro photography. Both my D1x and D2hs were purchased used and are still working flawlessly with over 100K cycles on the shutter.

Color management and professional image editing is like shooting a field rifle that prints 1" groups at 300 yards. You can't go back! It's so bad for me that I just pick up 2 new lenses and ordered in a new camera body. I get older but not always smarter.:)
