Help w Strelok Ballistics App with +20 MOA Rail

Ok, I'm 0/0 at 100, take it to 300 and close but not perfect, go to 500 and I'm off by about 2 mils in drop. Velo is good, height to center of scope to center of bore is good, G7 is good. With a 20 moa rail I'm changing the angle of the bore in relationship to the scope center. There has to be some compensation.

Possibly even post a screenshot of your Strelok screen?

Something is a miss and it’s not your rail. I’ve changed from 0 MOA rails to 20 and 30 rails and not had any issues with the chart.

Are you at the extreme ends of your elevation with the 20moa rail when you zero the scope? The extreme ends of some scopes can be less accurate tracking wise. This could cause your issue of the clicks not moving as much from zero.

Not at the end of travel at all.

Are you sure you’re off 2 mils at 500? Most rifles I have only need 2.5 mils or less at 500.

My mistake, should have been .2 not 2. Sorry, been hunting all weekend.

.2 vs 2 mil is a huge difference. Did you enter everything into strelok exactly correct? Including angle, elevation, humidity, scope height etc etc? A combination of those things being off might be enough to throw it off by .2 mil.

.2 MRad could even be a poorly set parallax.
