SuperTrickler vs. AutoTrickler powder measure comparison

Watched most of it. Will finish later. Great video. I don’t know if you covered , but sometimes my auto trickler v3 with the IG trickler like yours. As everybody is sure encounters, the auto trickler sometimes comes us a kernel or two short. If I’m having a ocd loading night, I’ll turn the knob on the IG trickler and trickle up to get it exact. Can you trickler up a kernel or 2 on the super trickler?

Good question and I didn't cover that in the video. I don't remember seeing a way to do that but I also wasn't looking. I'll try to take look tomorrow and see.

Nice to see some great competition. Both seem to be very on top of their game and are offering great customer service. Will be interesting to see what supertrickler does with the software upgrades and accessories in the future.

I looked at the super trickler website, but couldn’t find anything about pricing. I also saw some older info that Area 419 was going to be a US distributor, but it fell through. So is there going to be a US connection coming when units actually become available?

John you have played with both the auto and the super. I am only loading for 6mm arc 6mm br 223 and 308. The powders that I am running are Varget, Leverevolution and N140. Maybe some cfe 223. Which one would you get? Auto or the super?

I get this question almost every day right now and there's honestly no clear answer. Here's a chart outlining what I tell people and then let them decide which works best for their needs. NEITHER unit is a slouch, both achieve the goal but in different ways.
Edit: I've updated the chart to include the V2/3 system with the Ingenuity Precision as it's a great choice as well.

Great comparison chart.

No brainer for me....stick with my V4. I'm kinda low tech and don't really need all the nice things the ST provides for me shooting SR BR. Plenty of things for me to do while the powder charge is being measured. Looks like a real time saver if you are preloading. Or just buy another powder catcher for whatever you're using now.

ST may be better loading in the wind, but I have a carport that solved the wind problem with my V4 if I'm not loading in my trailer

I just figured out my Jones measure a couple of years ago.... o_O o_O

Later
Dave

I will say this, if you are interested in the Supertrickler, you should join the users forum, if you are not already. Tons of great information exchanged on there everyday. Once you order, be sure to join the owners forum, even more detailed information.
