New SEB NEO-X

Just got through putting the new SEB NEO-X through the paces and after 130 rounds over her, I must say "I was impressed!".
The control of the new "X" was just amazing, I could actually move the dot of my crosshair's within a bullet hole on the target at 100 yards, without binding, sticking in place or backlash (trying to return on its own from the path it came from.).
Seb, the quality of your product is only equaled by you engineering and innovation! I tip my hat to you boss!
That's all, Keep'em Small,

Here is the link to the YouTube video. My first attempt so don't hurt my feelings, you know how sensitive I am....

Every post on the Neo X makes me want one more and more.

Did Seb respond to your thought on an optional shorter leg?

Also, I've been shooting long guns for decades just like you. Left eye dominant shooter, but right handed bolt guns.
I've just recently decided (at 53 years old) to get lefty bolt guns.

Have you thought about getting left handed guns or do you see advantages (besides price and availability) on sticking with right handed bolts?

Yes. We have talked about it and we have two possible alternatives:

Option #1. To make another drill/tapped hole on the single leg so that the leveling screw can be closer to the main base. (This if the user would use the rest both for BR and F-class).

Option #2. To make a shorter leg. (This only if the user shoots BR).

Sebastian,

I have had a Neo for several years and love it. Is the joystick mechanism on the new rest the same as the old Neo; that is, teflon plate and lubricant?

Thanks,

Gerry

The NEO-X has new internal mechanism, runs on some hard-chromed steel rods with teflon coated bushings and tight fitting that will last for years without special maintenance / treatment.
It also has a wider MOA travel that covers air rifle / rimfire targets easily.

Time & space allow, my son will make a light-compact-affordable rest for air rifle / rimfire BR, next 2023.
