cleaning solvent

That's some strong stuff. I used to use it when cleaning carburetors.
I figured it would be more convenient than brake cleaner or carburetor cleaner that is aerosol as long as it doesn’t damage everything else it touches. We’ll see

Make sure you neutralize it. This stuff doesn't evaporate like break cleaner. This stuff works perfect for Aluminum or cleaning parts. I just wouldn't know how it works on steel. Be careful. I used to use water to neutralize it, then blast it with compressed air.

Dang now you’re scaring me. I thought it evaporates quick. On carb parts it appears to evaporate/dry like brake clean. Hmm. Thanks for the heads up!

I bought 5 cans today at the Dollar store for 3 dollars a can, but I use it for cleaner out in the shop guess it found a new job

The neutralize comment tripped me up. I will try it on a couple old take off barrels first. I figured I could just patch it out. What’s going to happen if I don’t neutralize it?

Berrymans chem dip... use with caution. Does it work? Yes. Don't give yourself the canca-herpa-aids-a-titis. Wear gloves. Clean properly.
