Cz lothar-Walther barrel info

Should have stated. I bought the barrel second hand. The barrel was fine and you may not need shims. Sometimes you can mount it and the headspace is OK. But if you want the most accuracy out of the combo you need to know what the headspace is. If it is to tight you will have a hard time closing the bolt and if it is to loose you will get light strikes. I believe I had mine set at .046 or .047. It functions great now with all the ammo I have tried so far. As you can see with R50 ammo it's pretty accurate. That group is 5 rounds at 50 yds. I believe it can do better. Not sure if I can or not...LOL!

Try setting your headspace on ~.043 and see if it doesn't improve your group size. You should still have a easy bolt close unless you are going to shoot trash ammo...

I found that the bolt was to difficult to close at .043" this was with Center X. I have seen "Josh" on his youtube channel select .043 but he used only one brand of ammo (Eley Match). Where I have it now it works well. I mainly shoot Center X and RWS, these perform best in this LW barrel.

I heard second hand that Lothar Walther will not honor any warranty unless ordered direct from them.Might check that out first
I showed be good then. I just ordered from them. Just hoping it gets here soon.
