Vudoo Barrel manufacturers

Very few of them shoot as well, where they say it matters most, as they arrogantly represent on the internet; they seem to forget their scores can be viewed at anytime.

I'll save you the trouble MB...I think I'm qualified to speak rimfire benchrest!!!
What happened to Bullet Pro 150 and the Love affair with Mr Ivan Wells???
Are those indoor scores? huh out here in calif we shoot outdoors with wind to each his own

I’ve thought the same thing until talking to some RF Br fellas that know their chit and they say it isn’t as easy as one would think.

Both BP1 and Lee are correct. Indoor matches have their own difficulties to contend with. Mr. Maney, as of right now, currently leads the nation in ARA Indoor A-line and is third in ARA Indoor agg line. Nothing easy about those results.

Every one thinks indoor is simple...no wind just put it on the dot and pull the trigger huh??...Till they show up with there 2100 agg outdoor gun and agg 1850 indoors....It's cold here in the east during the winter....Indoor shooting is for building and developing a killer gun...If you can't agg 2300 and above indoors. Your going to have a rough time winning any sizable outdoor match!

I would like to see someone here in Tx open up a 50yd indoor range and hold 22rf matches in..I’m just getting into this game and don’t know what I don’t know. I have shot a couple matches so far with the wrong setup, but I have taken care of that..now it’s time to practice and listen. Here’s a picture of my V-22s with a Jamie Burgess stock and a 3gv benchmark finished at 24-1/4”s topped off with a Harrells tuner and chambered by Evelio McDonald.

Looking forward to hearing how it does.

Very nice BP. I just spoke to Evelio yesterday, great guy and great builder. Also, Jamie sent me a picture of your stock as it was coming off the machine, he's been putting in a lot of time to stay caught up on the number of V-22S builds coming together. Stay in touch and post up targets when you can....

It might be a little bit of a drive for you but march 19/20 in cedartown Ga will be the psl and ara indoor nationals...come on up and shoot with us!

This may be to late for this thread and I’m no one special but my first Vudoo was a Renegade stocked 360 in 22 LR with an 20” Kukri contour ACE BARREL. My first set of groups (3) with Center-X ammo resulted in two groups in the 1s(.170” & .179”) and a .315”. When I ordered my next gun from Vudoo, in 22 magnum I ordered another ACE barrel. The 22 magnum is shooting some unbelievable groups. .162” at 50 yards and lots of 1/4” at 50 yards. The real difference over the 22 LR is at 100 yards. .365” at 100 yards and several 1/2” at 100. They use a different twist than the industry for the magnums. Most manufactures use a 1-16 twist(1950s technology). Vudoo uses 1-12 and WHAT A DIFFERENCE THAT MAKES.

All on ACE barrels. That tells a lot. They definitely clean up like they have been lapped and who cares if they were slugged as long as they shoot this well.52A8697A-217F-432F-ABF7-F68512A0BA09.jpeg

I have shot 5 shot zero groups at 50 yards with my Ace 20” barrel. The barrels are great. It all depends on getting the right ammo.

not to stray off topic too much, but does anyone offer pre fits for a Vudoo? Or does Vudoo offer pre fits?
No one that I know of has pre-fits for the Vudoo actions, simply because of the extractor slots & the difficulty or impossibility of getting them timed so that pre-fits can be done. Pre-fits for the Rim-X can be found at several places, but that's because the Rim-X has no extractor slots.

To the OP, none of the barrels you have asked about would be on my list for a rimfire rifle, if wanting precision accuracy. That being said, I don't live in the repeater action shooting realm of RF shooting.

As to the other posts here that do not pertain to your question, I'm just eating popcorn and routing for the guy that's NOT part owner of the company involved. Kind of like "an insignificant" follower.
