UPS Changes to Gun Shipping Policies

walker2713

My Boy Hap....
Forum Boss update: You can still ship guns through most UPS-owned shipping outlets, but UPS has a new policy that shipments must come from FFLs or other authorized senders. Go to the UPS website for full policies.

Original post:
I took an AR upper and some ammo to UPS this morning…this sign was on the counter and confirmed by the UPS agent……very apologetic, but that’s their position.

I shipped gun parts last week at a distribution center and they listed them as such. They were delivered.

Yeah. It doesn't say UPS won't ship firearms or parts. It says they must be shipped through returns or through a scheduled pick up.

Well phuk me Myrtle!!
I went to ship a stock today from a UPS hub, and the gal held up a Post It sized paper with micro printing, like I could freakin read what was printed stating they won't ship any gun parts.
I asked when was that dated...
August 29th she says.....
Well what about the stock I shipped last Tuesday from this very location???
Fukin crickets!!!!
I called my local USPS.
As long as its not a complete gun no problems.

UPS informed me I can schedule a pickup after taking dimensions and weighing package.
UPS can eat a bag of Richard's!!

Where does it say no Ammo
Ammo as we affectionately call it should be classified as “Food”…
I call it gun food , but it’s still food none the less.

Scope= precision calibrated bird watching equipment.

Barrel = lab grade sample tube.

Anything trigger related = vintage rebuilt Packard carburetor parts.

Gun stock = custom built crutch for people who are severely vertically challenged “midgets”.
