I did not think to look what the NRA Foundation sent the club until this thread came up. Attached is all I know at this instant. Haven't even unwrapped the sights to see if they changed!

I briefly handed one at Smallbore week Camp Perry, was supposed to the air gun range with it and give it a try, but was unable (for a reason I can't remember) but just holding the rifle, I am ready to buy ......

Is the stock aluminum or plastic with maybe an aluminum skeleton?

I have second hand info from a JROTC in Texas. The diff is more shots per fill. People had a fear of the 2009 not making a 60 shot match. We never had an issue with ours. The stock is much more adjustable. The sights are better. If I was going to have kids shooting sporter 3p air, we would be shooting the new rifle.
