SELLING Tikka T1x Titanium FP

Selling Tikka T1x titanium firing pin. The mid-section is slightly larger O.D. and I lengthened out the larger O.D. sections to help add more material to the pin. These titanium firing pins have almost 10% more material added but are still 20% lighter. I also put a lot of work on the shape of the tip so it strikes within the rim. The end of the tip has a slight radius with a flat on it. The tip is made out of heat treated O1 tool steel that is pressed into the titanium body. The tip is also .001 oversized from the factory pin. I put a lot of time, thought, and effort into these firing pins. I know they may be a bit overkill but if I’m going to put my name on them, they’re going to be the absolute best that I can make. $28 shipped

The burning question is: Have you tested to see if the firing pin improves accuracy to any extent?
I have had feedback saying it’s improved accuracy. Of the testing I’ve done I haven’t seen a huge improvement in accuracy but I’m not doing a ton of testing with premium ammo over flags either

I asked because the improved FP strike inside the rim usually improves accuracy. This was studied in great detail over at the RFC site by carefully reforming the tip of the FP on a CZ 455.

I still have some available. I’ve had nothing but positive feedback on them. Bump

Zeke is turning out a beautiful product. I ordered and installed one of his firing pins myself. It appears there has been some problems with the factory Tikka firing pin breaking if dry fired. I just saw a post from a guy on Rimfire Central with a picture of the tip of his firing pin broken off. This pin fixes the problem permanently and you don't have to search for and wait on a factory replacement. Accuracy? I didn't test before and after. I didn't fire it much with the factory pin, but it's positively shooing good with the replacement.
