I just wanted to thank everyone at the club for yet another well run World Open. I didn’t shoot so well but there were some impressive performances by many others, especially considering the conditions, which were less than optimal. It was a good time and it’s always good to see other shooters who I don’t get to see very often.

The WO was a huge success! The conditions were less than desirable and the point system would have definitely benefited the field of shooters. Anyway, thanks be to God for a great weekend of friendship and competition. I also give thanks that everyone was safe and had a great time!

I had a great time attending this years Original 1000 yard benchrest club world open. I would like to thank everybody that helped make this match run smoothly. Thank you Andy and Eric for all your hard work and dedication to the club.I enjoyed talking to both of you again this year. It was also nice to meet some new friends as is always the case at every match that I attend. It was a nice relaxing weekend although the wind conditions did not make for great shooting conditions it was still fun. Congratulations to all the winners and a big thank you to all the sponsors that help with the prize table! I look forward to attending again next year. I sure feel privileged to fulfill a boyhood dream of mine by being able to shoot at the original 1000 yard club!!!
Congrats to all the top shooters! Very tricky weekend for sure. Big thanks to the club and everyone involved in making things tick. Every aspect ran like clockwork. This is and has been THE BEST 1K BR match in the world!
Also, can't forget about the target pullers...they are ultra organized and did a phenomenal job. There were several that never pulled a target and they caught on very quick and did a super job. Hopefully you tipped them!

Ran like clockwork until final results postings…waited from 4 and left at 6:30…lots left sooner….need to get that part worked out…we’ll run til then though
