Triangle Cleaning Patches ??

I purchased some of these a while bac and am running low they work really well for my rimfires/ Any info would be appreciated

Thanx

Be very careful of the size of patch you use when cleaning.

The jag may be for .22 but they come in different thicknesses and even when using the right size patch they can become stuck in the barrel, oops, been there.

The jag (patch holder) should always be thinner than the rod diameter to safely gat the patch through the barrel.

Just my tuppence worth.

To remove a stuck patch. Saturate it wirh solvent, let it sit over night. Push it out in the morning. Best to set rifle butt down and put in more solvent than the patch can actually absorb. Works like magic.

I have cut large square patches into smaller triangle ones and they worked fine. I like to store my rifles but-end up. If there is anything that can flow back through the barrel I don't want it running down into the trigger...........Yes, I have seen it happen.

Hope you have something soft for the muzzle to rest on to avoid damage to the crown.
Have never had a problem butt down but then I clean and final dry patch with maybe just a touch of Bore Tech as it is a rust preventative. Cheers

I cut 1 1/2 in. patches in half twice for 3/4 in. 2in. become 1 inch etc.Reduces the number of different sizes I have to stock.

Would be just as easy to cut once, corner to corner to make a triangle. But those 2 long pointy ends are not going to do anything!
