load data ..my first time

Look up secret South Carolina load. Not much of a secret, many 6.5 shooters have used H4831 long before the Creedmoor came out. But they did stumble on a good powder choice. N160 or N165 and Hybrid 100V would be excellent choices also.
tar mate i have the carolina secret....just got to get the oval seated right...

fxdwg you must explain to this illiterate hill billy what a tar mate is and, what seating the oval means. Do you do the oval seating next to the billabong? The slower powders i mentioned may work better in a longer barrel, but i don't know how long a hawkeye is.

lol..hahahaha..... tar ....is a short slang for ... thank you ..... in australian.

sorry the slip of the fingers on the keyboard.... oval ...... i mean the seating depth ...the length of a bullet ( projectile ) seated inside the cartridge case.

right now and for a few days it's raining cats and dogs here.... so i think that i'll be sitting a little ways of from the billabong.

...tar mate :) for your input...... the 6.5 cm m77 ruger hawkeye is 24" barrel.

I used to keep some ADI literature laying around to make sure I didn't confuse the names after Hodgdon changes them. Can't lay my hands on it at the moment, but noticed that ADI has a page with something similar. Just FYI for folks who find themselves needing some translations.

http://www.adiworldclass.com.au/powder-equivalents/

ADI 2208 - Varget
ADI 2209 - H4350
ADI 2213SC - H4831
ADI 2217 - H1000

The Hodgdon Reloading web site lists loads based on caliber and bullets. It isn't always an issue if they don't list something, but in some examples it might be a clue that your combination might need more investigation to see if it may be a mismatch.

A few loads pop up for Varget and H4350 with a 140 grain bullet, but not your specific one. Here is what does show. Good Luck!
