McMillan Stock Question

What McMillan stock would have the same lines and contours as an A3, but a narrower forend?

I want to order it for a hunting rifle, with a #4 or #5 sporter barrel, but don't want all the meat that is on either side of the barrel channel. In other words...an A3 with a narrower forend.

I like the flat bottom on the rear of the stock, and don't want the hook style (if that's what it's called).

Look at the Game Scout and the Game Warden. I might be able to provide some more helpful information if I knew whose barrel contours you were referring to.

Kreiger heavy #4 sporter, is what I think they list it as. Thanks!

Maybe they will make you the reverse of the A1-3 used on the XM3 --- A3-1. Backend of A3 and front end of an A1. I do like my molded in woodland long action Game Warden, though.

A #4 Krieger is going to look a little small in a Game Warden but not nearly as small as it would look in an A3. It's going to look just the opposite, a little large, in the Game Scout. To satisfy my taste, If I had to choose between those two, I would pick the Game Warden.

Thanks guys, I'll look into the Game Warden!

Kreiger lists it as a #4 Heavy Sporter. I may look into a #5 Sporter, and compare weights. I had one a few years back, and thought that would be as perfect a contour as I could find...for me.
