Where I grew up we were shotgun only. I could never go back. I hope MN comes around.

The modern shotguns are like shooting rifles with huge bullets. Never made any sense to me unless it was buckshot only and that should only be limited to populated areas

God I hate slugs, I live in southern mn and hunt both with a rifle in northern mn and shotgun or muzzleloader near home. I also hate dancing, but if i can use a rifle near home you may see me dance! Even straight wall cartriges like some other states have gone to would be nice.

Seems lots of what lawmakers do doesn’t make sense. Randy Fritz and TarHunt shotguns really did a lot to show how accurate and effective a shotgun on game could be.

I agree with much said… several years ago Michigan went to strait wall pistol being ok out of a rifle in shotgun territory…I immediately got a 450….. great round but I do believe the ftx leaves much to be desired… but still 300yd accuracy is nice… Crappy thing is… I’m a mile from the line…
