We have a covered 50, 100, and 200 range, plus a lot more. We shoot 4-6 RFBR matches a month. There are also a few CF matches, and many pistol lanes. This is what the rifle range looks like.

Ridgway rifle club in Ridgeway Pennsylvania. There is a 32 bench line that is full for our long range silhouette shooting (VBR varmint benchrest) out to 1000 yards. Offhand and black powder shoots from 200 to 500 m. They hold cowboy action shoots and some different handgun events along with trail walks at silhouette targets. They have a real nice 22 range out to 100 m and hold various types of shooting disciplines there. Great people and great scenery, a very beautiful part of Pennsylvania I’m glad to be associated with them!

We did an extensive range improvement over the winter, improving drainage and building our new Burm to 28 feet tall to insure bullet containment, which is a huge issue with ranges throughout the Country.

You guys have prettier ranges than I. In Southern California it is hard to find nearby outdoor ranges. I shoot indoors. I have some pix in a video I made a while back, but not worth digging up I reckon.

Yes, I shoot in an area where snow capped peaks are in the background, deep canyons, large clear cuts, old log landings...So yes, posting a target can be difficult, and you have to drive several miles around the mountain sides to check your 1000 yard target. Same getting an exact range you want to shoot can be difficult because you're up against a mountain side, trees in the area block your vision, or it's 2000 feet straight down. Then there's the wind and weather, or fog moves in almost instantly, along with rain, sleet, or snow.
But the scenery and wildlife are great....if you can actually make into the area , ice, snow, fire, rain, mud, depending on the time of year, getting to "the range" can be an adventure.

It’s a nice workout with some rope involved.
Most of the furthest steel it permanent.
Closer stuff is easier to set up.

Sacramento Valley Shooting Center. Has pretty much anything you could want. Pistol, rifle to 1000y, silhouette, shot gun, black powder, etc.
