It’s alive!! We finally have a central location to promote F-Class shooting and share relevant information. A simple, easy to use website to search, plan, and post our US based, F-Class match schedules and locations. Our goal is to get our new shooters hooked and continue to spread the word about F-Class. We want it to be easy for everyone to get all the content and information they need to feel comfortable joining our sport. We are starting small but intend for the site to grow. The ultimate goal is to make a forum-based site where there are sections to discuss F-Class related items from match heckling, reloading, beginners page, a for sale section etc. It will only be for F-Class and only about F-Class.
The website will be as good as the people adding the information. The site includes a major match section and regional section broken out state by state. Members are allowed to upload club schedules with location, making it easier to attract new shooters that otherwise may give up because the search can be time consuming. Please take the time to review the “Please Read” instructions on each section. The instructions are intended to make it easier for all to understand the content and how to navigate it. Include links to your match schedules from your club site if available. The major match calendar is for non-club matches such as a State or Regional, the 4 State 2 Man team match, a V2 qualifying match etc. Even though it is early in the year we hope match directors will start using the site and give us ideas for improvement.
Soon we will have a blog spot, so if you have something you want to write about send us what you have, and we can get it on there. We plan to have some videos about how to pull targets, safety, and what to expect at a match for example.
As of now we have United States info but down the road would like to make it international to encompass F-Class around the world. It’ll be our one-stop shop! It is always fun to see others sharing it around the globe.
I want to thank Vince Winkeler a ton. He has helped me get this going. He is doing all the IT stuff and putting my thoughts into reality.
This site is nowhere near done and we want to see it grow. Suggestions are always welcome. We have a suggestions tab and a contact us link on the site, or you can email Vince or I at fclassinfo@fclass.info
