Interesting Results for Brushing Necks

Sounds kind of odd but dry tumbling with rice and baking soda added works very good and as far as I can tell does not remove the carbon from inside the necks. It cleans the brass much better than the corn cob or walnut media or anything I've tried in the past with no clouds of dust from the tumbler at all.

EDIT: I do run a brush in and out (1 pass) of the necks once removed from the tumbler.
Bill,

How much baking soda do you use per cup/pound/... of rice?

Slight tangent;

20$ ebabe factory resto'd Hitachi corded drill motor. Has a plate that affixes to the accessory handle hole. Large,flat head bolts, go through slide out shelf to the undermounted plate. There's a jam nut with a single lever(out of pic) that locks the drill in place. This pic is in the "retracted" position. Turning the drill out to around a 45* angle is where it gets down to business.

Cheap arse Lee case holders do their job.

Don't own a "case cleaner".... this has been working great for several chores,inside/out of case necks. Just throwing it on here for you non case cleaner folks.
