Powder Replacement Options

Am looking for some possible powder replacement options for a number of powders on a number of calibers.
IMR 4831
IMR 4350
H4895
And of course Varget
These were my Go-To's but have been months looking with no luck and totally out now as of last night.
Any ideas??
6.5CM
7MM Rem Mag
308

N165 or N160 for the 6.5CM and maybe the 7mm also, and its better than the options you have listed. i like WIN 760 in my 308 but it may not be able to make speed that all the hot rod guys like.

Shooters World Precision is a good stand in for Varget. I use IMR7828 for my 7mm Rem Mag. I use it because it is all I could get but it has been satisfactory and I see it pop up here and there online. Ive also been using IMR8208XBR in my 308 win lately with really good results. Also AA2595 and AA4064.

Staball 6.5 is developed just for the 6.5 Creed (4350 slot).
Accurate 2230 is supposed to fit into the 308 slot.
I was never able to get decent accuracy at 600 yards from Staball 6.5 out of my 6.5CM. And the SD on 10 shot strings never once dropped below 15fps

Keep your eye oh Bruno's stock - they have had IMR 4350 & 4831 in stock about once a month. Unfortunately they only have 4198 at the moment. IMR 4350 &4831 were available about 2 weeks ago.

AA2700 is shooting nice in my Creedmoor
A buddy has had success with Ramshot Hunter in his.
And another friend is running
IMR 4955, speeds are a lil lower than I like for this but its getting the job done.

Great I'm a big fan of Win 760 ball and have plenty of it. Just never tried it in this rifle. And it measures like water! I'll try it.

Not everyone can, but if you watch Powder Valley closely...and I won't admit how often I do some days....they actually get most of these in stock here and there. I've seen H4895 in stock several times recently, I got some H4831 a few weeks back. H4350 was actually in stock for awhile today, as was H1000 and Retumbo shockingly enough. I just couldn't get in fast enough to get in on H1000, I still don't understand how their stocking works, seems like lots were being up throughout the day then selling out again. Over the past couple months I'd restocked almost all my core powders there.

The rarest are the Alliant powders. I don't think they are releasing much at all to the reloader market. I've seem a couple on Powder Valley ONCE this year, and they were gone as fast as they appeared.

I'm going to assume you're ordering online? The last powders I would get away from are the IMR line. I find they are much more available during panic/shortages because they are just across the Canadian border. I see them regularly at the usual suspects online.

Agreed. Alliant seems to have the worst availability during any panic/shortage. After decades of using Alliant in shotgun and pistol I gave up back during the Sandy Hook days. When supply came back in 2016-ish I bought a couple 5#'ers of RL-7 and RL-15 because I like it for cast bullet shooting.

Thanks, yes online, locally, you name it. I watch about 9 different websites as much as possible and you all have been a big help brining my attention to some vendors I had never heard of. Another issue I'm having is finding brass for the 6.5 300 Weatherby Mag! Holy cow! I won this gun two years ago and still haven't put my hands on any brass. Have the load and powder I want for it but as of now, all I can do is throw the leads and my arm is shot! Haha!

Imr 7828 ha sworked very well for me in 7rem mag with 150 grain bullets, should work well for heavier as well. Imr 4064 would be a good one for the 308, also maybe w748
