Lapua .223 brass thickness & Amp annealer code?

Can someone confirm correct brass neck thickness of Lapua .223 brass and also what codes on the amp annealer are people using?

Per their site with .013 neck the standard code is 47. For every .001 you turn off drop about 3. I think I use 45 but it's been a while since I've done .223. Not certain that it matters that much as long as you keep it consistent and don't over/under anneal.

I know when I started with .308 palma brass they had brass submitted that was anywhere from 76 to 101. I did 10 each at 85 and 92. 92 seemed to be a nice sweet spot so I have stuck with it through about 5 different lots. Never had a failure. The primer pocket will go before the necks ever do.

Check the AMP website! You need to make sure which AMP you are talking about, basic or AztecII. Also, hook up with some of your fellow Aussie shooters. They have a wealth of info.

I did the destructive test on my batch of Lapua 223 and the code I got is 0141.
I know this is an old thread, but I got a little bit nervous because I saw amp website stated code 47. And I personally got a code of 0142running the analyze. Glad you posted this!

I think AMP is pretty clear that there is zero correlation between the standard and Aztec codes.
