Cz 457 manners athlon mounting help needed please?

What size …MOA scope base/rings combo for a Cz 457 Manners pro varminter with 30mm Athlon 4-20 x50 scope atop?
This Cz 457 manners chassis doesn’t have an adjustable cheek pad/weld and I really don’t want to add one and plan to shoot from 25 yards to around 200 yards while not taxing the scope turret limits if reasonable?
Appreciate your thoughts here.

Have you looked at the BScar 457 bases?

I have a Bscar 457 pic base with burris signature zee rings. it works great!

Not sure what you mean about no cheek weld, but I have an Athlon 6-24×50 on my 457 At-one varmint (actually in a KRG Bravo now);

I use a bscar 25moa extended rail, and Warne medium rings. Gives plenty of clearance, and I get a good consistent cheek weld. I can dial to 300yds, but that's about it ( They hang steel at 300 meters, and I can't dial that, but need to hold over).

Hope this helps,

Dave

ETA: Dialing to 200 is a no brainer with my setup, plenty of adjustment range left...

Thanks Dave. How does your set up work for close shots … like 25 yards if you’ve done it?

I haven't really shot that short after my initial setup, but my scope will focus fine on the 50 foot targets, and I still have plenty of 'down' to dial 25 if needed.

I do my ammo testing at 50, but most of my shooting is 100 to 300.

Enjoy, and post pictures

Dave
