I would like to nominate Kevin Mcbride, Marine RECON sniper, retired. Combat veteran in many theaters. After many years, Kevin is trying to build a Sniper rifle like he used to shoot, M40. As you can imagine, a Recon Marine Sniper saw a lot of action in Iraq and Afghanistan, and other threaters.

Kevin now works in a hospital system helping other vets full time. Then a scout master, husband, and Father of three boys. One boy is a Eagle scout, a two other boys are on their way to being Eagle scouts.

Money is tight for the family, and this is an understatement.

Terry has agreed to chamber a barrel for Kevin, and I have sent Terry documentation of Kevin's service record as a Marine Sniper, graduation pictures, and Marine Sniper school certificate.. I don't know if I sent Terry pictures with Hathcock or not.

Help is Needed and appreciated. Kevin needs 308 dies, decent trigger for a rem 700, 700 Long action, McMillen Stock, muzzle break, Bi pod.

I don't know if Kevin would feel comfortable to come on here and talk about his theaters of operation, some classified I know. Vets are often uncomfortable with this kind of thing, they remember all the lost friends and Non coms that gave their lives so that they could be here today. Gentlemen, it is humbling to say the least.

Kevin is without a doubt, one of the finest men I have ever known.

Team need some assistance sourcing an action for victor. If you read his story posted by terry he’s gone through a lot since 2017. He’s moving to Texas from New York so he can go hunting and shooting more.

I was with him when he got injured. I was sent home early and met him at Walter Reed in November 2017. I was with him for 3 days before I had to go back to Bragg to ETS from AD.

There’s a barrel (thanks butch!!), Im getting the trigger, bottom metal, and muzzle brake. just need a stock and action. Stock needs a vertical grip since he lost his fine motor skills and I think a hunter style stock would be hard for him to hold.

If the citizens of this nation want to be thankful that I pursued a personal passion to be an American fighting man while indulging in that passion, and while also being paid tax dollars to do so, then that is ok. I am glad there are those who had the passion to be doctors, nurses, CNAs in nursing homes, paramedics, police officers, lineman, plumbers, steel workers, the list goes on. I get weird when people thank me, because I have just as much thanks for all the others. I was a volunteer. You don't have to thank me, and if you do, I just see it as a mutual respect for whatever you do too.

Here is the first rifle. It is a 223 on a Savage 11 action and will go to a Navy man who is currently deployed. We are trying to keep it a surprise, so i will post his name and pictures once he gets home on leave.
There are lots of people to thank here, but first of all is Terry Balding. This is all his idea and I thank him for what he is doing. Others involved in this project are:
