That's 7mm08ai -.01". You would run into the same potential doughnut problem and the same capacity reduction with 162 and heavier bullets.

Wyatts says 2.880 oal max for their sa mags for r700s. Is that right? Aics without a binder can go up to 2.96" and can slap them in any aics compatible stock or chassis.

Wyatts also makes a mag box for short action Rem 700's that allows an OAL 2.995 and they make that for 6.5CM size cases as well as short mag WSM/RSAUM size cases. Wyatt's also has one called the "Baney" box that allows a 3.100 OAL but I think that one is setup for the short mags only and requires a bit more action work than does their 2.995 box.

Wyatt's makes so many different mag box configurations it's hard to keep track of them all.

It's actually the first one out there, but it's called the 7mm LRM (Long Range Magnum).
It it a proprietary round.
Colaborated between Gunwerks & Hornady.
Essentially, like the PRC cartridges, it's a necked down 375 Ruger.
Cases are had through Gunwerks. Dies through Hornady.
I think Gunwerks has load data for it also. But not sure.
