6mm Creedmoor and Re#26

I use RL 26 with 115 Berger a lot in several 6 creeds with good results. Mostly in hunting rifles. Running them over 3100 fps it’s a deathmoor !!!!!

With RL26, you get speed but more Pressure at the Muzzle. I would not recommend it for sporter barrels. If your rifle has a bull barrel, I see no harm in using the RL26 or slow-burning powder.

Re-26 is a fine powder for use in the 6mm Creedmoor. Those of us who shoot it frequently as well as hunt with it know how well it works with the heavier bullets.

I shoot the 115 DTAC RBT, the 110 A-Tips and the 105 Hybrid for longer ranges and the Berger 105 VLD Hunter for Coues deer. The only drawback to Re-26 is the lack of it in the current market. :(

I did well with the RL16 and Sierra 110's ( Sierra 107's are the easy button )
Tried the RL26 and got the speed, but wasn't as consistent
at full case.

It is evident that the Pressure at the Muzzle from a slow-burning powder is higher than the pressure at the Muzzle from a faster powder. The higher pressure at the muzzle would imply that the barrel at the muzzle is at higher lateral forces. Those forces on a thin and long barrel would result in a wider dispersion of bullets than the faster powder.
