LT-30 in my PPC

Looking for a good starting load for LT-30 in my PPC. I shoot 65 to 72 grain bullets. Was thinking that 26.5 grains might be a good place to start.

I've found a couple older threads here, but not that much info unless I'm missing something so I want to throw this back out there. Hoping @BartsBullets will chime in. Just looking for a push in the right direction since I have some of this powder to play with.

Not Bart, but FWIW I had to stop at 26gr of LT30 with 63gr flatbase in Sako USA brass. Western Powder #1 manual lists charges from 23.8 to 26.5 for 65s & 23.3 to 25.9 with 72s with Norma brass. Maybe someone will post with other brass options?

I’m normally shooting 27.1 to 27,5 of LT30

So this is from like 10 ywars ago. Is the newer blend still near the same? I know from lot to lot it might vary!

Not a clue.
I have switched back to shooting straight LT-32 and am learning N-133. To be completely truthful, in this arid climate, N-133 kicks my but every darn time I take some to the range. It has won most of the battles, but in the end, I think I will prevail. I have a handle on it with my Waldog, it is just the PPC that just plain tricks me. LT-32 is just steady as a rock.
