Just curious, what's the twist rate on that barrel?

Not sure about that. Wouldn't have the blood splatter effect, unless you start injecting jello in there lolThis is twisted, but a stretch Armstrong doll will perfectly correlate to prairie dog damage.
That combo on crows on snow is something else! A 223 with 52 gr. Nosler Varmageddons isn't anywhere close to the devastation the 25-06/75 Vmax combo.25-06 w/ 75s sounds devastating. Would love to see that. I have a Youtube account and posted it there. If you don't have any way of posting it, I'll post it on my account and put it on here. I'll pm you my email address so you can send it to me if you like.
What kind of realistic velocity would you get with the 25-06? Just curious how that would stack up against a 6 Creedmoor w/ 75sThat combo on crows on snow is something else! A 223 with 52 gr. Nosler Varmageddons isn't anywhere close to the devastation the 25-06/75 Vmax combo.

Edit: Nevermind. I just checked my copy of the hornady 11th edition reloading Guide. Course we know you can hot rod it as it’s conservative but just as a comparison appears 25/06 has a 100fps advantage w/ maximum loads vs a 6 Creedmoor w/ 75 VMAXs. The upside is that the 6mm has a G1 BC of .330 whereas the .257 version is .290.
I had a 12 twist 6-284 that shot 75 v max pretty well, and they clipped along at about 3,750-3,800 fps out of a 28” barrel. I’ve shot a “few” prairie dogs in my life, and nothing I own created the carnage on a prairie dog that this chambering did, followed very closely by the 25-06 w 75 v-max. I’ve found 1” diameter pieces of prairie dog some 20 paces behind impact.
Colony varmint volume shooters they are not!
Now if you want the ultimate quarter-bore load my Lyman #50 Edition shows a 75gr Sierra HP #1600 being
sped along @4081fps in a Weatherby Mark V, 257WBY using 71gr of IMR-4350 sparked Fed 215 primer.
Wait a minute. Is this video proving that target bullets don’t dump their energy into small varmints? Say it aint so!
or just under the tail when they are facing away from you!Hydraulics, key word for the subject. Mid day when they are laying flat on a mound looking at you, hold on the chest or bottom jaw for best “lift”
