Whidden Click Adj Lock Ring

I was wondering if anyone has asked Whidden what the screw or bearing, which locks the ring to the die, is made of? Just want to make sure it is not going to damage my threads before I buy one. Thanks.

I am also interested in hearing any “cons” other than price - as I am already very familiar with the “pros”. Thanks

I stopped using them when I switched to a coax press.. They don't fit in a coax press.

I’m a huge fan of the click rings. I wonder if the click dies work even BETTER, if that’s possible?

In my experience they do answer the phone, and answer emails, which is actually kind of refreshing.

I wish they made stocks….

I doubt Whidden would make something that would cause damage to your die.

I've called them several times during the ordering process for my custom F/L Bushing Die , and they always answer the phone , far as I can tell . Mrs. Whidden is a joy to speak with , and will transfer you to the right person quickly , if she can't answer any question you may have . It's like dealing with the Kelby's .
