Anybody got any cool non shooting habits?

We have a small pecan farm. It is the farm I was born and raised on. I inherited it when my folks passed. It gives me great satisfaction to work on it. These pics are of harvest which we contract for.
I bet the deer love to visit your place.

Ive been racing motorcycles since i was a very young lad so off road riding is a hobby i have had since my first 1978 honda i still have. Heres a toy i just built for poker runs just for showing out a bit. My brother has a 350x and i replaced my overbore 250r with this. Had to sacrifice one of my mx bikes for it but it sure is a lot of fun.

I had a 350X back in 1985 and wish I had kept it. It was an awesome machine. I wish I could find one that wasn’t raged out.

Most recently picked up a drone...month ago I started looking & the same day had one ordered before noon....DJI Mini 2....DJI is probably the biggest mfg out there.....many rules & regs to know & follow....for example the drone can only weigh 249 grams....or you need a class & license to register it with the FAA...Mini 2 weighs 245...This thing is amazing what it does & can do....6 mile range...but the rule of drones it to keep it in line of sight (LOS) Oh yes....know where the 'RTH' button is if you need it...Return to Home....crazy thing will return to the spot where you launched it...anyhow...still earning....how much ?? Drone with 2 year crash warranty...charger & 3 batteries...$650 ish As in any hobby plenty of gadgets to buy extra...batteries last approx 26 minutes each flight Here's a few test pics....still working on videos....

I love some of that drone footage. I always feel like you can see stuff eye's have never seen before.

In all my years of flying airplanes I don't ever remember seeing a NOTAM for model rocket launches. Do you guys need to get permission from the FAA? At the altitudes listed on this thread there definitely could be a conflict.
i never thought of that and use to shoot alot of them up when i was a kid. They go pretty high for what they are .

Since we moved to Tomball, and have a rather nice lake out back, I have become a fisherman.

Not a very good one as of yet. I’m just a little past the Cain pole and cork stage.

I am actually sitting on my patio right now, looking out at our fountain, just relaxing and waiting for Christmas Dinner.

life is pretty good.

You got me missing my green fields. Have not seen green grass up here in northern Ontario since the 12th of November ,the day my 98 year dad passed away, sure miss him. Been getting a pile of snow here this winter and will have to fire up my big JD tractor with the 8 foot blower and clean up my yards and driveways. Going to be minus 30 celcious for the next 2 mornings and only warm up to minus 22 in the daytime. They are calling for minus 38 next Monday. Hoping to see the grass again by sometime in April.

That rad 3 wheeler would be a blast around the hilly fields on my south farm. I had a Honda big red but sold it as I was only using it for pulling my wood splitter around the farms. Now I just use one of my smaller tractors to move it. I ride a couple dirt bikes around the farms and sometimes ride my 1200 HD Roadster in the evening to town 20 miles away and have coffee with some of my old buddies that meet there every evening. Got 3 Coopers and some other assorted toys I want to play with in the spring if this snow ever goes away.
