How did I get super glue on my finger

It was gun related . I bought a Tally picatinny rail that had a anti cant level with a small tube of super glue(To glue it to rail). I opened the tube with out screwing on the narrow dispenser( Should've read directions a second time ) It came out of tube too fast . Anyhow thanks for the tips on how to remove the glue . Happy New Year everyone !

I use CyA super glue quite often, but mostly the water-thin wicking type. The only practical way to handle and control it is via a small disposable plastic pipette, which can present a tiny drop at the precise location. Applying it carefully usually requires getting your face close to the action, in my case wearing an OptiVisor magnifier. But the thin stuff is the worst for fumes, which will affect moist nasal and eye tissue. In fairly short order you can develop an unpleasant sensitivity to CyA fumes. Best to have a small fan nearby to disperse the fumes.

Wished I had a dollar for every time something like that has happened to me. Usually because I’m wanting to read the instructions and whoever I am working with starts rushing me. I end up saying, “To hell with it!” Then……………well, you get the idea.

Then there was the Guy that while sleeping, his wife used Super Glue to glue his **** to his hand.

Not the same thing but I remember a guy bringing his NEW car into the body shop for a repair estimate. DENTS "all over" his New Chevy Impala.
Seems his wife found him and his girlfriend bumping ugley's in the back seat and did the # on his car with a ball peen hammer. Paybacks are a bitch!!

We used to ship lots of super glue out to mil customers for fixing the system we sold them. One day I get an email from an officer that oversaw the program with a picture of one of his squaddies with his finger super glued inside his ear. He was in the desert and a bug went in his ear while using the super glue and when he swept it out with his finger he was stuck. The bug was not dispatched and still in the ear and was quite irritated now to be trapped in that small place.

It was fortunate that there were no casualties as they were in a combat situation. When the "help" from other departments of the company heard about the issue they were very adamant that we start adding warnings to the bottles so this would not happen. The fact that everyone is pretty much aware of what super glue is capable of did little to dissuade them said warnings were not needed, I said they do not have warnings on the muzzle of their guns telling them to point towards the enemy. If you put warnings on everything they lose all affect.
