Which brass do you use for competition

I mentioned tuning brass earlier, both these pictures are separate brass lots on separate days after neck tension adjustments and pockets uniformed, hand primed with loads weighed carefully. Shot at 500 yards over a chronograph to cull any fliers.
What do you precisely mean by "neck tension adjustment" and "loads weighed carefully"?

I weigh each charge on a tuned beam scale that resolves to one kernel of powder which is about .02 ( .1 gr of Varget equals 6 kernels )

I use fl bushing type dies so I’m able to test the affects of neck tension tension/ bullet hold by using different size bushings in .001 increments comparing the results on paper.
The further you shoot the more it matters.
I do not anneal- not yet anyway..
I do not remove the carbon inside the necks rather brush lightly for smooth seating pressure.

Just me of course.
Anyway I trust this gives you food for thought, have a great day.

I take on this is ...
Man you're just starting out. Load the that chit up and shoot like there is no tomorrow !
You have a learning curve to go through just in competing. Brass concerns are later. Have fun, it'll come.
