A QUALITY Muzzlebrake needed!

Almost 30 years ago I had a Gunsmith buddy build me "The Gentlemens Muzzlebrake" All the holes slanted forward at a 35 degree angle. When I shot this at the 1K Matches I had competitors commend me on one hell of a friendly brake for the guys shooting on either side of me. Well Bob who built it died years ago. Is there anyone out there that builds this type of brake? I mean come on,all you brake guys that I have contacted about this had ""deaf ears"" to what I asked for ...I have a fractured left ear drum from the god awful brakes I had to contend with back then and now. I'll leave it at that.I Thankyou.......
 
It still cut back on the recoil,quiet abit. I had a Gentry before I had this one built. It might not of been as efficient, but it did cut the kick quite abit. But now we are also talking 30 years ago!
 
These style of brakes are way more ear friendly.

Little to no experience with any other brake out there but the E C Tuner/brake seems to be a friendly brake from my experience and other reports I've read and seen videos off.
 
You guys better listen to me!

I have half a dozen of those Gentry's, recoil of a 300 Win, 7 Mag is seriously reduced by the Gentry, Have Harrells, side discharge tacticals, and several others.

Those Vias are effective & loud, got two of them also, 22 and 30 caliber.

I tried the Vias once, only once. Sounds like the Gentry deserves a look. I’ve been using terminators but they are hard on the guys left and right!
 
Get a thunder beast 30 cal can direct thread. More effective than any brake ive had, and cuts the noise down like crazy.

I shoot one on my 284 win hunting rig. Like shooting a 22-250. And sounds like a .22 short.

I shot last weekend from my deer blind. Another guy hunting near me said it sounded like a .22 short as well.
 
The risk of damage to your hearing is significantly minimized by using proper hearing protection. Obviously some shooters haven't listened to this advice for several decades.

My suggestion has always been to wear both Ear Plugs and Ear Muffs. Yes this can be inconvenient but compromised hearing is PERMANENT.

Have always worn plugs AND muffs. It is the concussion on the side of your skull that can also cause hearing loss. A 300 RUM barrel four feet to the side of you can be brutal at the range. Its the idiots behind them that have no "awareness" or care to at least tell the shooter to his side to be warned. I own A couple cans and love em but at times would like to try a MB again....
 
The loudest brake I have ever used is the Vais!! Not shooter friendly at all. I make a few radial brakes for a gunsmith friend of mine. The holes are angled forward 6 degrees. He swears by them and installs at least 200 a year!
