To increase the thickness of the metal surrounding the cartridge.

Not enough gain to even worry about

You'd be trading more steel around the chamber, for less steel around the tenon.
The receiver also functions to contain chamber pressure- above my pay grade, which is exactly why I'll leave it to the engineers. Short of what's needed on a "factory" production action to true threads (and no reason to do it on a Defiance) I'll leave the tenon dimension where they designed it. JMO, YMMV

F you do it, it might look something like this.

I did this Bat ACTION after a shooter severely galled a barrel tenon init. I took it out to1.125 diameter 20 threads per inch.

The reason some actions like the Bat HR have 1-1/8 threads is so they can fit bigger lugs in the action. When using a .590 bolt face there is increased bolt thrust and lug set back becomes an issue, the larger lug foot print is the fix.
