Stiller Actions?

I thought Stiller had gone out of the center fire action business or had quit selling to the general public, but I stumbled upon this website last night https://stilleractions.com/ Anyone know the story? Are they good actions? PM is fine if you prefer. Thanks for feedback.
 
They got out of rimfire i believe, but they still sell centerfire actions.

I had a few of thier actions over the years underrated IMO.
 
Jerry sold off the centerfire business a few years ago. He did keep the rimfire division for himself.

The centerfire business has switched hands again recently and is back into the running for standard actions as well as those dedicated to the large cartridge, extreme long range shooters.

I've used several and have no complaints.
 
Well i didnt know all of that guess, i am half right on this one.
 
I currently have two Stiller Predator actions and have nothing but good things to say about them. I have called them with questions and they were always very helpful and polite in answering my questions.
 
Ive had two. First one was awesome (2012), second one (2020) would bind on me where I couldnt cycle the action. I called and emailed for help and crickets. Respectful, hey just need your expertise kind of email. Nothing demanding. Got frustrated, sold it on the forum with a disclaimer, and now use slicked up remingtons or defiance actions. YMMV....

Since Jerry sold to me it would be a crap shoot. Have 3 from 2000 esh. Only good words for them. Just my two cents Tommy Mc

I've owned two, both 2012-2013ish. One was a Tac30 and one a Tac338. The Tac30 would bind like you're describing and the Tac338 was smooth.
