recommend a scope for my 22

I shoot at 50 and 100 yds outdoors and 50 ft indoors. I need a scope that can focus at these ranges. Also what power do you guys recommend ?

Falcon 3-18 from SWFA. Great bang for the buck and a good warranty. Bushnell Forge - any above 15x, Burris 5x20 Fullfield ( have one of these on my 22)

Weaver was not bought out by Bushnell. Both companies are owned by Vista Outdoors. Vista discontinued the Weaver scopes a few years ago. Their warranty went kaput with it. They will not repair the Weaver scopes. Initially, they would send you a Bushnell scope instead. I suspect that is no longer the case.

You're only talking about 200. Here fella's, let's not over think things

All of my March scopes will focus down to 10 yards (30 feet). I have fixed 50x and 60x and the original 36-55x EP zoom. I've tried them all on several 22 rifles and they are excellent.

What kind of rig are you using? I mean is it deserving of super high quality glass? And, what kind of target are you using?

I would look hard at a quality air gun scope. As mentioned the Weavers are discontinued, someone made a comment of “only $200”, maybe so but I have to work for my money and $200 may be enough to pay tax on a piece of glass or it may put a dent in the price.
Cry once comes to mind.

I put a Weaver T36 on my 22 a couple of years, and at 100yd watch the bullet trail and resulting hole in the target. You can buy better ED glass and higher mag, which to me is wasted money. These scopes show up in the classifieds for $350, and are durable enough to warrant the price.

I just looked online at Sightron at their 36 x 45 ED glass and it will focus down to 10 yds. Does anyone have one that can say how they like it ?

There are a lot of options. Can you narrow down your wants a little?

Do you want a drop compensation reticle, a simple fine cross, mil dots?

1st focal or second?

Illuminated or not?

Magnification range needed, or fixed mag ok?

Any weight concerns?
