Bench Plans Part 2 [picture heavy]

Asked opinions for a bench back in August. Read everything posted a couple times [thanks guys] & made a decision for the bench. I was able to use it today. Nothing like having your own bench.

The building this extension is attached to. I'll not bore you with the shed construction. The roof line will be 10X12.

The bench frame was constructed & perhaps over braced. I want it solid though.

I thought those hills look familiar. Hope to travel that way in a few weeks to fill my tag. I do miss the hills something awful. I have been fortunate to have seen some of this great country, but can always recognize "them thar hills". Enjoy your new bench, great job

Really looking forward to it. Douglas has been really helpful. I wish I could pick it up on the way back from Brooke County, but Douglas will be closed Thanksgiving week. Would also get to meet Mr. Taylor and crew. Speaking of the southern coal fields of W.Va. I have told folks down here in this flat land of Eastern Carolina some of the strikes of some of the mines back in the days, and folks thought I was making up how violent things could get. I wish I had enough land to have my own range to shoot at, hopefully able to move back someday.

Yes Sir, you are blessed to be in Almost Heaven, it is still in my blood after all of these years. W.VA. was still Va. when my family was there. Back in the 1830's the best I can track it.
