6mm BR - Berger 108 BT

Looking for load data for 6mm BR with Berger 108 BT

Can't find any 105 hybrids but found Berger 108s

What load and mv are people running with the 108s?

I don't see much difference with the 105's. The 30 plus or minus gr of Varget general recipe works well. Same with R15. They are the only two I've tried. I did see a fellow lock his bolt up by going straight to a load of 30.0 Gr with no work up. Powder lots, free bore, and other things can make a pretty big difference.

I shoot the 108 boat tail targets in a 6br. 30.5 Varget or N150 in a 30" Brux barrel. CCi450 primers I get 2835 fps and 2875 fps respectively. As always work up to make sure load is safe in your rifle.

29.3 R-15 with 205m jammed +.008” did it for my barrel. Yours is probably different. ?

My Bat action 8 twist 6br shoots the 108's very well at 200 yards using 28.7 grains of H4895. Not sure of the velocity but for sure on the lower end of the scale.

29.9 of N140 and a 108 has worked well in last 2 barrels I tried it in with minor seating depth variance.

108 gr. Berger with 29.0 gr. of Varget worked well in my 6BR seated @ Touch lands. Did not chrono.

what mv are you seeing and how long is your barrel?

how do you have them seated?

2850ish in a 28" Bartlein, seating depth is .010 jump in this barrel, last barrel was at .015 jump. This is a .104 FB barrel with Lapua brass and cci 450's.

Muzzle velocity is worked backwards off recorded drops, as I havent put it through my chrono, although I probably should now that it came up.
