Kauger Arms

This week was my first experience building a barreled action with a Kauger Arms Viper action. I was very impressed with the thoughtfulness that went into the design. It has a pinned recoil lug that is shrouded to provide proper alignment. The bolt head is free floating. The action came with a barrel print. No need to search for it. See pics.

So what are you building with it, and how much did the action cost?

While I can't say what @Terry will do with his I can say I had a 338LM built on the Viper I bought.
These are great actions and coming on strong. You can see pricing and options on the Kauger Arms website and, in my experience, they are great people to talk to about any of their products.

i’d never heard of them before, so i visited their website. they look nice and are at a decent price point. but i guess i don’t know why they don’t offer a integrated recoil lug and or an integrated scope base. i’ve become fond of these two options in my bat and defiance actions. With the price point of the defiance tenancy the Big Horn origin and the newer bat igniter actions i don’t see the draw to these kauger arms actions.
in no way am I trying to trashing these actions since I have never Heard of them before and certainly have not owned one. Maybe someone can shed some light as to why they bought one of these actions over the more market standard actions we all know about.

They are great actions and great people to do business with! A lot of top shooters in long range benchrest are now running them. The 2nd gen benchrest action is one of the smoothest Ive handled. Met Tim personally at Nationals and him and his family are great.

My .338 Edge is built on a Viper long action. Love it!

My newest F Open rifle is built on the BR III. It's at Ronnie Milford's getting stocked.
