Thx for info. I tried placing order again after reading your post and had issues with credit card number. Entered it manually and it failed. Scanned credit card 3 times and same error. Will try tomorrowmy experience is that the online order form seems to default at times to $15/$17 shipping. I called about that while ago and was told they would only charge actual shipping. The last small item I ordered, the checkout process said $15.54 for shipping. When came time to ship and charge my CC - they charged me $3.22 for shipping. ymmv
Yes, will again with no questions!Has anyone bought from them before?? Are they reputable? Thanks
Yes, I have. and reputable. March 2021-I bought powders not available anywhere else (mostly) in person passing through Phoenix. They have a large supply of reloading gear! This is a smallish business and they had ALOT of boxes prepped for shipping UPS. The prices for powders were a bit high and I was glad to pay up. Good folks.Has anyone bought from them before?? Are they reputable? Thanks
My two cents to this month old thread. Yes they are honest and reputable. they have been around many years. If you care about what you pay you have to watch their prices and shipping. I buy from them if it works out for me.—- I sure wish their shop was near me though- Im sure Id be in there every week buying something then!!!Has anyone bought from them before?? Are they reputable? Thanks
Bruno’s has my business. All I was asking because I was a new customer. But I’m satisfied and will continue doing businessMy two cents to this month old thread. I try real hard to make judicious decisions regarding purchases from many of our suppliers these days. Lester has maybe been less than accommodating with some of his prices but there have been occasions where I found he had what I needed in stock and at a reasonable price, too. Since I hate driving into Phoenix, I try to combine trips down there with my purchases from his store for the sake of economy. I place my order for pick up and they text me when I can come in to pick it up, saves on HAZMAT! I pay online so it's just a matter of grabbing the boxes and heading out. Simple. Maybe it isn't for some folks and so be it, we all have the right to make choices.![]()
This is not current. From the web:
Hazardous Materials. For FedEx Ground U.S. services, the surcharge for packages containing hazardous materials is $27.50 per package.
Hazardous Materials. UPS accepts Hazardous Materials only from customers with a UPS Dangerous Goods Agreement in effect and a Scheduled Pickup account, and then for transport within all 50 states and Puerto Rico. Ground: $27.50. Air: $37.50.
Then add standard shipping.
So, are you implying that these are the prices you pay to ship, or do large volume shoppers get discounts. I know I am small volume and I get a discount from FedEx.
Those are the haz-mat fees. $39.00 per shipped box for 2021. I will almost guarantee that they go up to $41.00 for 2022 as they always increase by $2.00 a year. That is not the transportation charges. Those are separate and are determined by the box weight and dimensions. This is in response to the post stating that these fees are $27.50. they are not.So, are you implying that these are the prices you pay to ship, or do large volume shoppers get discounts.
