Hijacked... Both with scope listings very very cheap prices. Asks for paypal f&f or zelle only and will not accept call or provide phone number. Even posts in there own listings with the other id.. Crazy scams going. Watch out fellas.

FORUM BOSS: It appears the issues were related to passwords shared with other sites. We advise changing your PW to use a unique password here.

For Buyers, the lesson here is that you must ALWAYS verify. Ask for custom pictures. ALWAYS, ALWAYS do a VOICE phone call. VOICE always. And it is OK to insist on a physical address. Be wary of any seller who will not disclose an address or talk on the phone. NEVER use PayPal Friends & Family.

It appears that a handful of our Forum accounts have been hacked. Based on what we know today, these account-holders were using the same passwords and emails on other Forums and maybe even Facebook.

Just a heads up and not 100% on topic but the scammers are going full blast on the gun auction sites. I've turned in three in the last month. All were cut and paste from other auction sites.

Yes, my account was hacked! Paul has it back in my control.
Going to have to quit using same password on multiple sites.

OK, I have changed the password on both accounts.
Sent message to the persons.

It appears that these individuals may have used the same passwords on other Forums or possibly Facebook. We are aware of security breaches on other sites.

1. We recommend you use a UNIQUE Password for this Forum
2. Don't include your username, real name, or other traceable info in the password.
3. If you have an old email -- update that so we can communicate with you.

We have communicated with one of the account owners. He said that the same password had been used on multiple gun forums, including some very large, general usage sites.

Again, we strongly recommend updating your password here, and we also offer two-factor verification, which may help if you are using public WiFi to access.

Where you see your name (or avatar) at the top (right center) click on that and on the drop down left side you'll see password, click on that.
