What do you guys do to your Lapua BR brass before you shoot it the first time?

Run an expander pin through the neck.

Run expander in the neck to make sure all dings are removed and all necks are consistent. Seat a bullet in one piece of brass and measure loaded case neck diameter. Subtract .002 from that number and run necks thru that bushing size. Chamfer & deburr case mouths. Prime, powder & load.

Expand, turn necks, fire form and make 30BR out of it.

Throw it in the vibratory tumbler with walnut hulls to get the oxidation off the case from the final annealing step. Lapua does not clean them up after annealing. This will prevent scratched up necks and having to clean the crap out of your die.

Tumble them for 3-4 hours.

I only dream about Lapua 6BR brass....None about. Using Norma. I size without the expander, then use a 6mm mandrel. Prime and feed. Check every case with a Wilson Gauge.

For 6br brass
Run a .241 mandrel thru it.
Turn necks to .009 (.266 neck)
Cut primer pocket to .124
Say Lop-wa
Sprinkle with holy water
Load
Shoot

-Expand & Turn necks
-Slight chamfer of mouths
-Expand and bushing NS for false shoulder (if needed)
-Set correct pocket depths
-Dip anneal to mid body
-Clean & vibratory tumble
-Prime/charge with FFing' load, set bullets long for soft seating(if needed)
