It only lets me attach 6 files.
Edit for Jason's 2 Gun SOY.

@ Dave Way I like your report on the Bulletin and that's one of the best photos I've seen.

I have corrected the HG/?/LG thing and it is attached. Also the individual relays (condensed) with SOY on the right side and the SOY points files.

David

I didn't do the write up. They just used a photo I posted earlier Dave.

Yes, that was a great photo by Dave Way.

I wrote the article using mostly information posted in this thread. Still waiting for a short quote from 2-Gun champ Jason Walker. He was in transit yesterday.

This was one of the approximately 1000 stories I release annually In the Bulletin and main site.

2021 definitely will be a season and 1000 yard Nationals to remember, hard to know where to start.. well while on a shooting trip to Spickard Missouri (vapor trail valley) in mid June Jim Baur brought to my attention a last minute opportunity to Host the 1000 yard Nationals hmm. Looking back now it may have been a ploy to knock me off my game that sneaky bugger Jim Baur Lol dam near worked Jim.. well it was a challenge worth taking it appears and I want to thank each and every competitor who sacrificed finances to pick up lodging, rental campers etc. last minute as Missoula was A busy packed town the weekend of our Match and picking up lodging was tuff. participation is everything and with out it the venue would have fizzled. Two my Deep Creek shooting Family and range Crew thank you for your continued support and efforts at every match it makes big matches such as these far smoother. As for Lonnie Anderson thank you for your commitment and devotion to look after our club year round I could not pull it off with out you. also I would like to thank our host club Missoula Hell gate for allowing us to adjust and add days to our Nationals schedule on short Notice as Lonnie stated above thank you to all who donated there gear and time very generous to say the least. Also thanks to all who worked our pit rotation as handfuls learned on the fly the steps to be a pit operator thanks as that is always the biggest challenge, we did it. I was pleased to see old friends again and was able to meet a few news ones so nice. big matches and long days can and are tricky if you have shot many of them, but conditions continued to evolve for the good and bad just depending on the set or draw schedule each shooter had, it really was a fun Ride. Chasing my 12 year old's sets as well as my own as well as day commitments had me bouncing around like a popcorn fart in a skillet I would not have it any other way Lol.
Our last HV gun relay of the Match produce 11 DQ's out of 13 competitor that was a first at deep creek. 2018 Nationals produce 5 DQ's last relay of match I remember as I was on bench 13 and not only survived but won the relay with a 6.1" securing a tight 3rd to Mike Wilson HV gun that Nationals funny what we remember. until next time shoot em small..

I made all 11 matches at Deep Creek this year. I am in a hotel room again. It seems weird to be in a hotel room at 6 PM without being dusty and needing to load up ammo......

I echo what everyone has said on this thread. Many people put in a lot of effort and a few put in an insane amount of effort. ALL of that is much appreciated.

I made a bunch of new friends this year, and I got to see a lot of old friends at the Nats.

Hope to see everyone next season!

Thanks to whoever was all involved getting an article put up on the main page here by the 17th. I don't know who all was involved in doing that, but that's nice to see happening before months go by.

Tom
well i am new and have a different view. THERE WERE 7 NATIONAL CHAMPS AND TROHPIES. the article only lists THREE, completely ignoring the other 4 winners. will there be a COMPLETE ARTICLE ??? (because i saw the pic on the stairs with seven plaques) GROUP and SCORE do not count ??

No need to get all worked up. Tom's point was that there was already an article up literally 1 day after a national match had been completed. Give it a little bit and I'm sure you will find a nice full write up.

I didn’t realize the article only talked about the overalls. There are links in this thread to all of the information and placing for group and score though if you want to see it now.
