We are making changes to our monthly match in July to help everyone get ready for the Nationals. We will shoot a 3 x 1,000 both days as usual. This will be a V2 qualifier so we will report F'ers scores towards the V2 Finale next year. We will also be presenting cash awards for 2 day agg winners in FTR, FO and Any/Palma/Service as long as there are at least 5 shooters in each category. If one category does not have at least 5 participants, that category will be combined with another.
For Sling shooters, the first match of each day will be any/any, and matches 2 and 3 each day will be any/iron. Palma shooters will be required to shoot 155s because...well, that's what Palma shooting is. No whining.
At the end of matches on Sunday, we will have a shootoff for relay winners. If you win any relay over the 2 days, you will be included in the shootoff for another cash prize. The shootoff will be 10 shots with NO sighters in a 15 minute time limit. In the event of a tie, there will be a sudden death shootoff again with no sighters with a 1 minute time limit for each shot. No whining about the lack of sighters is allowed. For sling shooters in the shootoff, iron sights will be required whether you qualified with a scope or irons.
This is not a NRA approved match.
CPM rules for Etargets will be used so read up on them. I believe it is section 6.6
As a reminder for those who have never shot at Deadzero Shooting Park, we shoot off of artificial turf under cover. Expect temps to be in the mid to high 80s. We are on the Cumberland Plateau at 1900' elevation so temps are usually 6-8 degrees cooler than most any other range in the Eastern US.
Registration will begin at 0800 CENTRAL time. Shooting will begin at 0930. Please sign in and pay at the clubhouse before driving to the firing line. Fees are $30 for 1 day or $55 for both days. To speed things up, you can fill out our waiver online at Deadzeroshooting.com Look in the bottom right corner of the main website page for the "Sign our Waiver" tab. Preregistration is not required at this time, but send an email to Matt@deadzeroshooting.com if you intend to shoot both days. Priority will be given to those wanting to shoot both days.
