MatchMaster Powder dispenser Question

But it then states that it produces
12 V DC 1 A
Max current 156 mA
Min Current 120 mA

My question is
Can one use 12V DC as a power source to power this unit???

Reason--Would like to use at range and electricity (AC) is un available.

I'm not savvy about electricity and converting from AC To DC so you understand my limited knowledge(About a lot of things) so bear with me if I'm asking a stupid question.

I have called RCBS and they say they don't know if its possible.

Don't know about their own product! Sure doesn't instill much confidence in a prospective customer.

I would expect it to run even more reliably on a decent battery. I suggest that it will be OK on a 13.2v car battery / similar or a fairly high capacity "power bank" which uses Lithium-Ion cells.

Since the 110 VAC to 12VDC transfer is external, I would think it would run off a 12V battery just fine. You'd just need to find the right plug.

I’ve run mine off both a battery and rechargeable battery pack. The specs refer to different parts of the electrical capacity

When I reload at the range I use my intellidropper with a 12V car battery all the time. No issues. I am sure your dispenser is electrically similar to mine.
