I would just get one and done. Use a QD mount if your scope fails and you need to transition to iron sights. A tactical scope will serve well hunting too. I use a 1-6.5x bushnell SMRS IIi and like it a lot. For the low power scopes I would recommend SFP. FFP at 1x is normally too small to use effectively, even when illuminated.

There are companies that make 1-8 and 1-10 LPVOs. Swampfox, Athlon, and Vortex have 1-10s. That’s just off the top of my head. I’m sure there are more 1-10 manufacturers out there.

Thanks for the reply, as a hunting scope on a 6M ARC AR15 I need good precision.

The rifle I have and I are both capable of placing great shots so a scope for hunting with a lower power 6MM cartridge needs to be up to the task.

I've taken several white tail with a 6MM Remington a couple at 400 yards but it pushes 100 grain projectiles 3,300+ FPS and prints small groups. So with the 6MM ARC I'm needing to be closer and place very good shots, which means a good sight mechanism.

I like the 4-14 Primary Arms R-Grid 2b for the money....My son shoots it on a 6x45 AR from 100 yards all the way out to 1000 yds. Just zoom it down for hunting up close and dial it up for precision shooting. We have 3 of them and they work well for us.

I also like the SWFA's S/S scopes.....but they are fixed power.

You should be able to reach on out there with the 6mm ARC.....I'd want at least 1x per 100 yards.

Thanks a 1X is a must for tactical and a decent power and reticle is a must for hunting hits at range.

So how far you shooting then? That 1.5-15 will cover everything from tactical to precision at all yardages.
The concept for the rifle is as a working rifle for around the property, in the truck every day use. Low pressure rapid fire when needed a 400 yard precision game shot at deer sized game when needed. That's why the 16" barrel, if I was expecting regular long range work I would have built a rifle with a longer barrel.

I didn't bother with the longer barrel 6MM ARC as I have a 6MM Remington with a 26" barrel loaded to 65,000 PSI.

The 1-10x will easily get you to 400 yards as well. But budget is the big determining factor.
With the limited precision working range one can get a decent sighting mechanism for $1,000 or less.

I've taken 400 yard chuck shots with my Howa 223 and it was scoped for under $350 and 400 yard chuck head shots is all I need to take deer cleanly.

These should cover you pretty well.
