Long shot. But here goes

Pull my finger
I have a TC Venture II 223/556 that I bought last fall. Great shooter, but the trigger is well less than optimal and isn't up to my standards. I searched high and low on the internet and it seems nobody makes an after marker trigger. I bought the MCarbo spring but it won't work in my rifle because mine has the TC version of the Accutrigger. No adjustments on the trigger. So does any one have a source for a trigger, or a fix?

I don't know of a supplier of after market TC trigger components but I had a similar problem with a Browning X bolt stalker in 223 Rem.

The rifle shot terrific, in the 1/2 moa range with tailored reloads. But I couldn't get the "adjustable" trigger below about 3.5 to 4 lbs. which is too heavy for me for a varmint rifle shooting in the field off a shooting cross stick.

I found a local smith that reworked the trigger to 2.5 lbs. Not sure what it did inside but it has worked terrific since he reworked in May 2013.

Mcarbo has a x bolt spring, I just got an a bolt spring in for my neighbors rifle. I have used several of the TC venture/dimension spring kits. I don't know of a Venture 2 kit. His abolt will only lower to 3.44#, hoping spring will allow 2 3/4#.

We wish you luck in your search. I was surprised when I read your post, as I had no idea that the rifle iterations of TCs had non-adjustable triggers - my only experience with TCs is pistols dating from the late '70s to early '80s, and those had triggers that were easily adjustable for pull weight and over travel. Bummer.

I have an Xbolt Stalker in 22-250. I bought a Jard for it. Much better.

Timney makes a trigger for xbolts. I have one in mine. Big difference.
