shooting stool

Adjustable stool good for ranges that shoot up or down to target:

Replacement for casters/wheels provide better stability:
Thanks for the link. Gonna check it out right away

When my brother (a professional drummer) had to quit playing because of his Rheumatoid arthritis I latched on to his drum throne made by Ahead and called Spinal Glide. Really unique design and super comfy!

I use a cheap drummers throne. Adjustable for different bench heights, folds up compactly for transport. I buy the cheap ones because I am the World's worst for leaving them at the range. The Gibraltar is really nice but I would be pissed off if I left one of them.

I like the Brownells and I put roller blade casters on it, love it, if you're loosing balance sitting behind a gun you have other problems!

Bad enough that my shooting table moves when I shoot. All by itself. No telling what my seat would do if it had rollers.

Would not have to be much. Minute movement seems to matter and show up on the target. Rollers just add something else to worry about and have to rule out. Or, a built in excuse.

I've got a stool from LarryDScott, he doesn't sell them any more but its the best out there, 4'' of foam, big Vert. adjustment and No Casters ! You can knock off the seat and bottom legs for easy storage :)
I still have mine as well. It is by far better than anything else I tried.

Is anybody using a drummers stool that is on casters? If you are what one and are they stable enough for BR shooting?
Like Texas10 said Harbor Fright. They have model with NO Casters for 75 bucks Been using mine for 10 years now. Just my two cents Tommy Mc Down here in San Antonio. You might check out Northern Tool They have the same thing.

I have decided to wait before I buy another. I have bought two different ones in the past 5 years and neither one was all that stable (3legs).
I will still use the one I have and watch and see what others are using before I make up my mind.
