.30 Cal 190gr SMK Jump/Jam

Curious what others have found the 190SMK likes jump/jam wise. I assume they’re pretty forgiving having as tangent of an ogive as they do, but would appreciate to hear what others have found to work.

loading for my custom .300 Win Mag practice barrel, have a pile of these Bullets, H1000 and Fed215M and CCI250’s.

Thanks in advance!

I just shot them in a match yesterday. I was in a hurry to find a load so started at .010 jump. Specs were 300 winchester, new norma brass, 190 moly matchking , H1000 and cci250 primer. Found sweet spot with spread of 6 fps over 5 shots from 3003 to 3009 so thats what I loaded and shot for local 600 yard match. Started to find another sweet spot at 3150 but needs more testing.Started to really look promising as accuracy was coming together and velocity spread was almost single digits spread. I bet with another range session I can find that spot still shows no pressure but these are moly. I have not started playing with seating depth at all but .010 is a good place to start.

Mind if I ask where you began with powder charge? Was planning on starting around 76.0grs and work up from there.
