Bullet Pullers

What's the best bullet puller out there? Want something that will let me reuse the bullets but be fairly quick to use. How is the Hornady cam-lock?

Moderators- can you move to reloading forum?

I have the Hornady press mounted puller works great when I want to leave the powder in the case. It may leave a minor mark on the bullet depending on how tight I adjust the collets.
I also use the hammer for when I make dummy rounds. The hammer is quicker but IMO messy if I have powder in the case. With the hammer I have a piece of paper tissue inside of the cup so the tip (especially ELD match) are not damaged when it hits the inside of the cup.

Both work great for my use.

I use both inertia and collet type depending on the situation. The inertia puller when wanting to pull cast bullets from handgun ammo, and to break the "weld" on some rifle loads before going to the collet puller.

I use a RCBS puller and it works great if you I need to pull several bullets at a time. It’s kind of a pain to set up so I usually end up just using pliers and wasting the bullet if I just need to pull a couple at a time. I’ve been wanting to try the Grip-N-pull.

I have both the collet (RCBS) puller and a few inertial pullers, and now just ordered a couple of the Grip N Pull pullers. For the most part I use the collet pullers when I can, but lead SWC in 45ACP cannot be pulled with a collet puller as there is very little of the full diameter bullet above the case head, so they are always inertial pulled. I suspect the Grip N Pull will not work on the .45's also. The jacketed bullets should work with Grip N Pull, so it will be worth it to have them.
