It's been 7 or 8 years since I started these but in my defense I spent 5 of those years building a new house and shop . Anyway I shot them both today, It was pretty windy so I only went to 25 yards, more of a function check than down right accuracy check.
Both receivers are made from 416 stainless, the bolts are actually made from grade 8 bolts. both have dual locking lugs and dual cocking cams. obviously they are left bolt, left port but also right eject. I used a Savage spring clip for the extractors but other than that I pretty made all the parts. The barrels are Green Mountain blanks. Cheap and I've had pretty good luck with them. All in all the test went pretty good The blue one in .17 mach 2 worked flawlessly except the trigger broke to easy but I can adjust that. Accuracy was decent with eley ammo that shot like crap in my Norinco. The red one in .22 lr misfired first round but after that the next 20 rounds were fine. It may need a little more closing cam and a little oil on the bolt and cams would have helped. The red ones trigger needs a little adjusting also, too much creep
Those grips feel good but their not very bag friendly I need to make some sort bag rider for them.
Ok now in your mind rotate that a quarter turn counter clockwise. The left two 5 shot groups were with the .22 and the first box of ammo I grabbed (wolf match extra) I'm happy with that for shots 11 through 20. The right two groups are the .17 mach 2 also shots 11 thru 20 in a new barrel. There is quite a bit of vertical in the .22 so I'll probably have to make a tuner for that one.
